For IOR, CHS, IMS and all Club and One Design racing.
Computer Aided DesignCrusader took the lead in using design computers to arrive scientifically, swiftly, at the optimum cut and ideal fit for any given boat. We're constantly evolving new methods (and employing 3D graphics can show you the set of your sail even before its cut!) Cruiser RacerRadial sails have become very much a part of the racing scene and at Crusader we have made and tested ourselves a large number of these types. The central feature of these sails is that they are designed to offer the minimum stretch by orientating the threadlines of the cloth and seams to run parallel to the major loads. For most club racing sails we suggest using Dacron cloths, however, the use of laminate materials is available and we can offer practical advice as to how this affects your rating. |
